Michael Scheuer, outspoken proponent of a non-interventionist (ie America first) foreign policy, talks about being censored from Fox News. His invitations started drying up once he came out strongly in support of Ron Paul.
From the videographer: At the VIP brunch before the march through the streets of Philadelphia began and before Ron Paul spoke to a crowd of thousands, I had the opportunity to speak with former CIA intelligence officer Michael Scheuer. Scheuer, who served as the Chief of the Bin Laden Issue Station (aka “Alec Station”), from 1996 to 1999, the Osama bin Laden tracking unit at the Counterterrorist Center, was in town to support Dr. Ron Paul, his message and his run for President. After just a couple minutes of conversation, I had several red flags pop up in my head, (as usual), that what Scheuer was saying was pertinent information. So I asked him if we could talk about what he had just said again, only this time on the record. He had no objections and was more then happy to tell the story about his relationship with Fox “news”.
And here’s Michael Scheuer again, this time telling Bill Maher that American troops must only fight in wars that are in America’s interest. The look on Maher’s face is priceless:
